Seth Campbell will compete in the distance events during his second season in the Yellow Jacket track & field program.....NCCAA Indoor All-American as a freshman in the distance medley with the foursome placing 3rd.....helped lead Jackets to NCCAA indoor title.....posted season-best times of 4:34.41 in the indoor mile and 4:08.48 in the outdoor 1,500.....did not compete in cross country last fall but appeared in five varsity meets as a freshman.....posted a season-best time in the 8K of 27:13 at the Friendship Invitational.....clocked in 27:34 at the Louisville Classic.
High School - Three-year letter winner in cross country at Grand Rapids Baptist High School.....three-time All-River Valley Conference runner and a two-time state qualifier.....regional champion as a senior and placed 9th in the state.....team MVP as a sophomore.....member of three conference championship teams and squad qualified for 2004 state meet.....participated in track & field for one season and team won league title.....three-year letter winner in tennis and was 2003 team MVP.....played one season of soccer.....National Honor Society student.
Personal - Carries an accounting major at Cedarville University.....born 3/2/87 in Portland, ME.....son of Thomas and Mary Kay Campbell.....older brother, Dan, was a four-year distance runner with the Yellow Jackets.....also has two younger sisters.
