Kelly Nowels will compete in the sprints and hurdles during his first season as a Yellow Jacket.....four-year letter winner in track & field at Newbury High School.....graduated with the district 300 meter hurdles record at 39.9 seconds.....ran a career-best 39.8 in the event.....won three events in the conference meet as a senior in the 110 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles, and 4 x 200 relay.....best time in the 110 meter hurdles was 16.1 seconds.....four-year letter winner in soccer.....all-conference first team selection and played in the Greater Cleveland All-Star Game.....placekicker for one season on the football team.....class valedictorian.....National Honor Society student.
