Jason Scott has already established himself as the best pole vaulter that Cedarville has ever had.....NAIA national indoor champion with a school-record effort of 17-feet 0.75-inches.....three-time NAIA Indoor All-American.....NCCAA indoor champion for the second straight year (16-6).....won every indoor competition in which he was entered.....NCCAA national outdoor champion by breaking his own school record at 17-0.75.....named the Outstanding Field Performer of the Meet after also placing 2nd in the javelin (173-7).....NAIA Outdoor All-American placing 5th (16-2.75).....two-time NAIA outdoor All-American.....invited to participate in the North American Pole Vault Association Championships in Fresno, Calif. where he placed 7th (16-0).....tied the school record in the indoor 55 meter hurdles (7.83).

2005 - Repeated as an NAIA Indoor All-American finishing in a 3rd-place tie at 15-feet 9-inches.....placed 7th outdoors at the NAIA Nationals at 16-0.75.....NCCAA indoor champion in the pole vault at 15-9 and 55 meter hurdles with a career-low 7.96 seconds.....NCCAA outdoor pole vault runner-up (16-1).....placed 3rd in the American Mideast Conference (15-0).....also won outdoor event at Baldwin-Wallace, Cedarville, and Taylor.....CU Indoor Invitational champion.....NCCAA All-American outdoors in the 110 meter hurdles placing 3rd at 15.10 seconds and was AMC runner-up (15.95).

2004 - Produced a phenomenal rookie season.....NAIA national outdoor pole vault champion and set a school record by clearing 16-7.50.....became only the third Yellow Jacket NAIA national champion.....NAIA Indoor All-American upon placing 3rd at 15-11.....NCCAA outdoor champion (15-11) and AMC champion (15-6).....also won pole vault competitions at Indiana Wesleyan, Muskingum, Cedarville, and Windsor.....won his last five competitions in a row and seven overall for the indoor and outdoor seasons.....NCCAA indoor runner-up (15-0).....NCCAA All-American as the outdoor 110 meter hurdles runner-up with a career-best time of 14.97 seconds.

High School - Produced an outstanding career at Dayton Christian High School where he earned four letters in track & field.....Ohio Division II state pole vault champion as a senior after clearing 15-feet 2-inches.....won the event by 14 inches.....finished 3rd in the state 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.74 seconds.....scored all 16 points for DC which tied for 9th place as a team.....member of Team Ohio in the Midwest Meet of Champions and competed in the hurdles.....helped Dayton Christian win a pair of district championships and team was runner-up in 2003.....squad won regional title as a junior.....owns school indoor and outdoor pole vault records.....team captain.

Personal - Carries a sport and exercise studies major at Cedarville University.....born 4/10/85 in Dayton, OH.....son of Phil and Debbie Scott.....father is an assistant coach with the Yellow Jackets.....has one older sister.
