Kevin Kuhn ran in five varsity meets as a freshman.....ran a season-low 27:01 in the 8K at the Friendship Invitational placing 41st of 122 competitors.....CU's #7 runner at the Southeast Classic with a time of 27:08.....enjoyed a notable rookie track season.....NCCAA Indoor All-American in the 800 meters with a season-best time of 1:58.18 and was part of national title team.....NCCAA outdoor 3,000 meter steeplechase runner-up with a season-best performance of 9:36.92 for All-America honors.....member of 4 x 800 meter relay squad that finished 3rd.....American Mideast Conference steeplechase runner-up in 9:43.51.....qualified for the NAIA Nationals in the event.
High School - Assembled an outstanding distance running career at Cedarville High School prior to becoming a Yellow Jacket.....two-time All-Ohio Heritage Conference cross country performer and was the league individual champion as a senior.....went on to place 20th in the Ohio Division III meet.....two-time all-area selection.....member of Miami Valley Track Club cross country squad that placed 3rd in the nation in the Junior Olympics.....Ohio Division III state runner-up in the 800 meters on the track as a senior with a school-record time of 1:55.55.....district and regional champion in the event.....two-time OHC champion in both the 800 and 1,600 meters.....member of two conference championship teams.....invited to participate in the prestigious Midwest Meet of Champions.....helped state of Ohio to the team title by running the third leg on the victorious 4 x 800 meter relay team that turned in a winning time of 7:40.61.....Junior Olympics 2,000 meter steeplechase national runner-up.....Academic All-Ohio in both cross country and track.....National Honor Society student.
