Kandis Armstrong returns for her third season with the Lady Jacket softball team and will assume the role of #1 starter.....posted an 8-12 mark in 142 1/3 innings last spring.....recorded 10 strikeouts with a 3.44 ERA with 15 complete-game performances.....appeared in 26 games with 21 starts.....produced a career-high 11 strikeouts in an early-season win against Point Park.....fired a five-inning, five-hit 8-0 shutout over Carlow.....posted a 7-4 win over Mount Vernon Nazarene to cap an AMC doubleheader sweep.....recorded a team-high 9 2/3 innings pitched in a 4-2 loss to Walsh.

2005 - Posted a 2-1 record in four appearances with a 1.97 ERA as a freshman.....victories came against St. Joseph's ME and Seton Hill.

High School - Produced a notable three-sport high school career at Inter-City Baptist.....three-time district champion during high school softball career.....member of regional championship team her sophomore season.....named to the All-District Team all four years.....three-time All-Area, All-Region and All-State selection.....participated in Michigan State All-Star game as a senior.....two-time team MVP.....three-year letter winner in basketball and two-year letter winner in volleyball.....four year member of academic honor roll.

Personal - Carries a psychology major at Cedarville University.....born 4/8/86 in Ann Arbor, MI.....daughter of Kenneth and Dawn Fiema.....has three younger brothers and a younger sister.
