Melissa Parmerlee is back for her second campaign with the Lady Jacket varsity.....appeared in 12 matches and 18 games as a back-up setter in 2005.....posted 29 assists in two wins against Central State while registering a season-high nine digs in one of the matches.....will be pushing for significant increase in playing time this fall as either a setter or back row player.....played on the junior varsity team as a freshman.
High School - Put together a two-sport career at Northview High School.....played four seasons of volleyball.....team captain her senior season.....led the team in assists.....recorded a .980 serving percentage in her last year of high school competition.....also competed three years in basketball.....National Honor Society student.....named to Who's Who of High School Students.
Personal - Philosophy major at Cedarville University.....born 6/24/86 in Grand Rapids, MI.....daughter of Rev. David and Mary Parmerlee.....older brother, David, is a 2006 CU graduate and played on the golf team for one year.....has another older brother, Will, who is a senior at the University.....also has a younger sister, Carissa, who is a freshman at CU and a member of the women's tennis squad.
