Sarah Sheers joins the Lady Jacket volleyball program after playing her rookie season at NCAA Division I University of Toledo.....gives immediate depth at the setter and defensive positions.....appeared in 12 matches including six starts and 30 games for the Rockets.....totalled 206 assists (6.87 per game) while recording 58 digs.....helped Toledo to an 18-13 overall record including a 9-7 mark and a fifth-place finish in the Mid-American Conference.....team advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament.....earned the Coach's Award for her freshman season at Toledo.

High School - Three-year letter winner in volleyball at Centerville High School.....sat out senior volleyball season due to ACL tear but earned honorable mention all-conference honors as a junior.....team earned Greater Western Ohio Conferenece league titles in four consecutive seasons.....received scholar-athlete honors as a sophomore, junior and senior.....also earned two letters in basketball.....member of two-time league and district championship squads.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Undecided major at Cedarville University.....born 4/27/87 in Morgantown, WV.....daughter of Matthew and Sandy Sheers.....has an older sister, a younger sister and a younger brother.
