Kristi Beougher (pronounced BOO-kur) returns for her final season with the Lady Jackets.....one of four seniors on the squad.....played in 32 contests last winter with 31 starts.....fifth in scoring with a 9.6 average and team's third-best rebounder at 6.5 caroms per contest.....earned the NAIA's prestigious Emil S. Liston Award which recognizes an outstanding junior basketball player based on scholarship, character and playing ability.....named to the NCCAA Midwest Region Second Team.....AMC South Division honorable mention.....an NAIA and NCCAA All-America Scholar-Athlete.....member of the CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 Team.....led the squad in field goal percentage with a .541 mark and blocked shots with 18.....dropped in 51 of 61 from the charity stripe for a second-best .836.....recorded a career-high 23 points versus Walsh..... tied career high of 13 rebounds on two different occasions.....hit double figures in scoring in 15 games.....ranks sixth all-time with a .749 free throw percentage (125-167) and tenth all-time with a .510 field goal percentage (290-569).
2004-05 - Played in 35 games as a sophomore with 33 starts.....second-leading rebounder with 7.2 boards per contest.....led CU in offensive rebounds with 94.....contributed 7.2 points per game.....registered a season-high 19 points versus Urbana.....twice grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds in a game.....posted two double-doubles during the campaign - 18 points with 12 rebounds against Shawnee State, and 10 points and 11 rebounds versus Mount Vernon Nazarene.....dished out six assists in win over Rio Grande.
2003-04 - Appeared in all 38 games as a freshman.....team's fifth-leading rebounder with 4.2 caroms per contest.....recorded season-highs of 12 points and 10 rebounds against Mount Vernon Nazarene.....matched her offensive high with a 12-point effort versus Maint-Fort Kent at the NAIA Division II National Tournament.....registered 4 steals against Marian.
High School - Posted an outstanding basketball career at Christian Academy of Louisville.....four-year starter and three-year captain.....member of the 7th Region First Team.....earned All-State Honorable Mention.....played in the Kentucky-Indiana All-Star game.....team captured Kentucky Christian Athletic Conference and Class A regional championships from 1999-2003.....scored over 1000 points in high school career.....averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds per game during senior season.....National Honor Society student.....Senior Class President.....valedictorian.....named a Kentucky Governor's Scholar.....earned the Citizenship Award from the Mayor of Louisville, KY.....member of the All-State Academic Team.
