Julie Utz joins the Lady Jackets after completing a successful season with the junior varsity squad.....led team to a 10-1 final record before being added to the 2006-07 varsity roster in January.....produced a three-sport career at Mars Area High School.....four-year letter winner in basketball.....team captured two section titles and playoff berths each of the four years.....WPIAL AAA championship runner-up in 2004-05.....named to the all-county second team as a senior.....selected to the Cager Classic and Western PA Roundball Classic All-Star games.....earned team's Hustle Award.....led team in assists both sophomore and senior campaigns.....finished career with 415 assists..... chosen Most Valuable Woman Athlete at Mars High School in 2006.....four-year letter winner in track and field.....member of the 2006 state-qualifying 4 x 400 meter relay squad.....two-year letter winner in soccer.....earned Most Improved and Best Defensive Player honors.....National Honor Society student.
