Emily Peacock returns for her final season with the Lady Jacket track & field squad.....will look for another successful throwing campaign.....set two school records during last year's indoor season - shot put (38-4) and 20# weight throw (49-4.5).....one of the women's top scorers with 47 points.....won the NCCAA indoor weight throw title with a heave of 47-11.....school record shot put toss of 38-4 placed sixth at the NCCAA Indoor Championships.....recorded a team-high women's outdoor point total of 119.....captured the hammer throw title at the NCCAA Outdoor Championships with a 150-10 effort.....American Mideast Conference hammer throw champ with a 144-7 performance.....competed at the NAIA Outdoor Championships in the hammer throw and finished 17th with a 130-even effort.....named NCCAA Indoor All American and NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the hammer throw.....earned All-AMC First Team honors in the hammer throw.....NAIA, NCCAA Indoor, NCCAA Outdoor, and AMC Scholar-Athlete.
2005 - Registered 110 individual points during the outdoor season.....recorded a career-best 38-10 performance in the shot put to place fifth at the NCCAA Outdoor Championship.....posted a career-best toss of 116-0 in the discus to finish ninth at the same meet.....won the hammer throw at the Indiana Wesleyan Qualifier with a career-best 152-9 effort.....captured the hammer throw title at the Yellow Jacket Open with a 131-1 performance.....finished third (143-2) in the hammer throw to help the Lady Jackets to a fifth-place finish at the NCCAA Championship.....hurled the javelin 90-1 to finish fourth at the Yellow Jacket Open.....named an NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the hammer throw.....earned NCCAA Indoor All-American honors in the weight throw.
2004 - Tossed the discus a season-best 105-9 to place third at the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational.....finished fourth in the hammer throw at the AMC Championship with a season-best heave of 130-4.....finished fifth in the shot put at the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational with a 30-8 effort.....registered a season-best 35-3.25 mark in the weight throw at the Findlay Open.
High School - Three-year letter winner at Hedgesville High School....track squad captured regional, AVL and CVAL titles from 1999-2002.....also three-year letter winner in soccer.....scored 36 career goals....team produced WVSA championships from 1996-99......National Honor Society student....class salutatorian.
Personal - Dean's List student as a psychology and criminal justice double major at Cedarville University.....born 2/21/85 in Peoria, IL.....daughter of Rev. Kaye and Susan Peacock.....has one older sister, one younger sister and a younger brother.
