Christina Reyes is back for her third campaign with the Lady Jacket track squad.....plans to finish her career running both indoor and outdoor in 2007.....joined the Lady Jackets as a transfer from Cuesta College in California.
2005-06 - Ran just the indoor season last year and scored 32 points for the squad.....a season-best 5:12.05 performance in the mile earned a first place finish at the Rose-Hulman Indoor Invitational.....placed sixth at the NCCAA Indoor Championship in both the 3,000 meters and the mile..... set school-record as member of the indoor distance medley squad (12:34.34).....ran in all eight cross country meets.....best outing was a 18:28 at the NAIA National Championship which placed 28th of 259 runners to earn NAIA All-America honors for the second consecutive season.....18:53 effort placed 17th at the NCCAA Nationals.
2004-05 - Finished as CU's #1 runner in the final three cross country meets.....NAIA All-American by placing 14th out of 258 runners in 18:20.....NCCAA runner-up to earn All-America honors with a career-best time of 18:01 for the 5K.....placed 4th in the American Mideast Conference in 18:40.....Louisville Classic runner-up in 18:11.....finished 5th overall or better in six meets.....NCCAA Indoor All-American on the track with runner-up finishes in the 800 meters (2:18.69) and the mile (5:05.03) which were both school records.....NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the 800 and 4 x 800 meter relay (9:13.99) which qualified them for the NAIA Nationals.....member of AMC Champion 4 x 800 meter relay squad.
2002-04 - Named the Cuesta Female Athlete of the Year for 2003-04.....placed third in the state in 2003 and was 12th in 2002.....two year letter winner in both track and cross country.....holds the school record in the 5,000 meters on the track.....homeschooled.
Personal - Carries an exercise science major at Cedarville University.....born 12/7/83 in San Luis Obispo, CA.....daughter of Sergio and Nancy Reyes.....older brother, Sergio, was a two-time NAIA cross country All American at Cedarville.....younger sister, Jessica, is currently a member of the Lady Jacket cross country and softball teams.....also has an older sister and another younger sister.
