Bonnie Wright returns for her final season with the Lady Jacket track program.....participated in just one indoor meet last season.....produced 42 individual outdoor points.....ran a season-best 13.2 in the 100 meters at the American Mideast Conference Championship.....captured the long jump event at the Anderson Outdoor Invitational with a 16-2.50 effort.....also finished fourth in the 200 meters (27.88) at the Anderson Invitational.....named an NCCAA Indoor and Outdoor All-America Scholar-Athlete.
2005 - Totalled 72 points for the CU track squad.....recorded a career-best effort of 13.11 in the 100 meters to finish third at the Taylor Invitational.....won the long jump event at the same meet with a 17-2.75 performance.....season-best output of 26.89 in the 200 meters placed 10th at the AMC Championship.....member of the 4 x 100 meter relay team that placed third at the NCCAA Outdoor Championship with a 50.11 outing....named an NCCAA Indoor All-American in the long jump and an NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the 4 x 100 meter relay event.
2004 - Made significant contributions as a rookie in the sprints and long jump.....one of five captains.....part of NCCAA 4 x 100 meter relay championship squad.....participated on 4 x 200 meter relay team that captured NCCAA indoor title.....named NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the long jump and 4 x 100 meter relay.....earned NCCAA Indoor All-America honors in the 4 x 200 meter relay and the long jump.....captured long jump titles at the Muskingum Invitational with a 16-6.50 effort and the Yellow Jacket Open with a season-best mark of 17-11.50.....placed 19th in the long jump at the NAIA Outdoor Championship with a leap of 17-6.25.....registered a season-best 13.17 in the 100 meters at the Muskingum Invitational to finish in 8th place.....best effort in the 200 meters was a 26.41 for a fifth-place finish at the Yellow Jacket Open.....ran with the school record-setting 4 x 200 meter indoor relay team (1:48.79) and the 4 x 400 meter outdoor relay squad (3:56.03).
High School - Put together a successful two-sport prep career at Southfield Christian.....four-year letter winner in track....earned 2003 All-State and All-Area honors in the long jump.....800 meter relay squad earned All-State honors in 2002.....team captured 2001 regional championship.....member of four-time conference championship team.....holds school records in long jump (16-4), 800 meter relay team (1:47.9) and 400 meter relay squad (52.42).....Oakland County indoor long jump champion in 2003.....earned two letters in volleyball.....member of district champion team in 2003.....team captured conference and district titles in 2002.....set school records for most blocks in a match (9) and in a season (120).....National Honor Society student.....class salutatorian.....2003 Female Athlete of the Year.....Academic All-State in 2001, 2002, 2003.
Personal - Dean's List student as an early childhood and special education double major at Cedarville University.....born 10/22/84 in Royal Oak, MI.....daughter of Larry and Martha Wright.....older sister, Sharon, participated in track & field at Cedarville from 2000-02.
