Lucy Olney ran in seven of the eight cross country meets as a freshman.....best outing was 21:17 at the Friendship Invitational which placed 69th of 120 runners.....finished 75th of 155 competitors with a 21:59 effort as the Lady Jackets garnered the American Mideast Conference and NAIA Region IX championships.....distance runner on the track & field squad.
High School - Four-year letter winner in both cross country and track & field at Whitehall-Yearling High School.....earned All-Mid-State League First Team honors in cross country as a senior after placing 7th in the conference meet.....earned team MVP honors as both a junior and senior.....Division II regional qualifier on the track in the 1,600 meters.....track & field team MVP in 2005.....two-time Mid-State League Ohio Division scholar-athlete.....salutatorian of graduating class.....National Honor Society student.
