Jordan Shumaker is a third-year infielder at Cedarville.....played in 32 games with 28 starts as a sophomore.....batted .213 with 17 hits and five RBI's.....recorded the Jackets' only four-hit game of the season by going 4-for-5 with a double, two stolen bases, two runs scored, and three RBI's in a 16-7 win at Earlham.....made six starts on the mound with two complete games.

2006 - Received valuable playing experience as a freshman.....appeared in 29 games with 10 starts.....batted .250 with eight runs scored.....recorded two hits in a game versus Kenyon.

High School - Played three seasons of baseball at nearby Shawnee High School before wrapping up his prep career at Northwestern High School.....earned two letters total.....batted .295 as a senior with nine stolen bases to go along with a perfect fielding percentage as an infielder.....member of sectional championship and Central Buckeye Conference title team at Shawnee.....part of sectional basketball championship team as a senior at Northwestern.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean's List student as an integrated social studies education major at Cedarville University.....born 7/8/86 in Springfield, OH.....son of Ronny and Lori Shumaker.....younger brother, Dillan, plays soccer at Bluffton College.....also has two younger sisters.
