Matt Totten is a three-year starter for the Yellow Jackets and returns for his fourth season as the program's most experienced player.....has appeared in 123 games during his career with 117 starts primarily as an outfielder.....started all 39 games in which he played as a junior with 33 of those coming in right field.....batted .225 with eight doubles.....went 3-for-4 at the plate in a win versus Myers.....had two-hit outings against Tiffin and Wilmington.....finished the season with a six-game hitting streak.
2006 - Ranked third on the club with a .314 batting average as a junior.....played in 44 games and made 42 starts in the outfield.....rated second with 37 hits and posted a .962 fielding percentage.....put together eight two-hit games.....assembled an eight-game hitting streak which was the second-longest on the squad.....named to the NCCAA Midwest Region Team.
2005 - Appeared in 40 games as a rookie with 23 starts in left field and 13 more on the infield.....batted .244 with seven doubles, a homer, and 15 RBI's.....had five multi-hit games including three hits at Kenyon.....had three outings in which he drove in two runs.
High School - Played four seasons of baseball and earned three letters at Troy High School.....batted .300 as a senior.....recorded a team-high 110 at bats which was the fifth-highest single season total in school history.....member of 2004 league, district, and regional championship team.....three-year letter winner in golf in four seasons played.
Personal - Carries a criminal justice major at Cedarville University.....born 9/13/85 in Boulder, CO.....son of Jeff and Karla Totten.....father serves as chaplain of the Detroit Tigers.....has two younger sisters.
