Micah Wilson is a third-year player with the Yellow Jackets.....played in 21 games last spring.....started 13 times behind the plate and three other games as the DH.....recorded eight hits with a double.....went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI's in a 16-7 win at Earlham.
2006 - Appeared in 14 games as a freshman with three starts.....batted .333 with three hits in nine at bats.
High School - Three-year letter winner in four seasons of playing baseball at nearby Beavercreek High School.....posted a .330 career batting average.....tallied a 10-1 record on the mound with five saves and a 2.33 earned run average.....set a school record for the most victories in a season by a sophomore with five.....threw out 70 percent of runners attempting to steal during his career as a catcher.....played one season of football and earned a letter.....National Honor Society student.
Personal - Carries an AYA integrated social studies education major at Cedarville University.....born 9/2/86 in Bellefontaine, OH.....son of Rev. Rick and Deb Wilson.....younger brother, Nate, is a freshman infielder with the Yellow Jackets.....also has two younger twin sisters.
