Derek Woloshyn is in his third season with the Yellow Jackets.....sat out last spring with an injury.....ranked third on the 2006 club as a junior with a .324 batting average.....was 6-for-6 in stolen bases.....tallied three hits in a 6-2 win versus Mount Vernon Nazarene.....had a two-hit game against Tiffin.....assembled a season-high six-game hitting streak.

2005 - Made ten appearances with four starts on the mound in his first season at CU.....winless in three decisions, but struck out 22 batters in 22 innings pitched.

2004 - Played his freshman season at NCAA Division I Texas Christian.....pitched four innings in three appearances for the Horned Frogs.....member of Conference USA Tournament championship squad.

High School - Earned four letters in four seasons of baseball at Downers Grove South High School.....two-year letter winner in football.

Personal - Dean's List student as a marketing and psychology double major at Cedarville University.....born 10/7/83 in Downers Grove, IL.....son of Jeff and Jan Woloshyn.....has one younger sister.
