Brett Bigler returns for his third season with the Yellow Jackets.....appeared in seven tournaments and played 14 rounds during his sophomore campaign.....ranked fifth on the squad in scoring average at 78.50 strokes per 18 holes.....fired a career-best 73 in the second round of the season-opening Tiffin Invitational where he totaled a 36-hole career-low of 147 to place 10th individually.....finished 6th at the Shawnee State Invitational with a 149 (76-73).....tied for 2nd at the Ohio Dominican Classic (76-75-151).
2005-06 - Averaged 79.48 as a freshman.....appeared in 11 events and played in 21 out of a possible 22 rounds.....broke 80 a total of 14 times and matched his season-low score of 76 five times.....carded back-to-back 76's for a season-best 8-over par 152 total at the Malone Invitational.....had rounds of 78-81-78 at the NAIA Region IX Tournament with the 237 total being the 8th-lowest 54-hole total in school history.
High School - Played four years of golf with three letters at Concord High School.....two-time All-Northern Lakes Conference performer and was the conference medalist as a junior.....averaged 39.5 strokes per nine holes as a senior and 77.0 for 18 holes.....helped team to three straight IHSAA state tournament appearances.....squad placed 5th in the state his sophomore and junior years.....carded a career-low 72 in the regional tournament.....member of three sectional championship teams and one NLC title squad.....2004 Elkhart City Junior Amateur champion.....named to the All-NLC Academic Team.....National Honor Society student.
Personal - Dean's List student as an accounting and business finance double major at Cedarville University.....born 10/28/86 in Elkhart, IN....son of James and Heidi Bigler.....younger brother, Nick, is a freshman on the CU golf team.....also has a younger sister, Alison.
