Chris Beals adds depth to the Yellow Jacket backcourt and garnered a wealth of experience during his first season.....voted to the All-AMC South Division Freshmen Team.....played in all 31 games with one start.....averaged 8.8 points per game.....always a threat from long range with 73 of his 90 field goals coming outside the three-point arc.....scored in double figures 12 times.....made his collegiate debut by scoring 11 points in an 84-81 season-opening win at NAIA Division I No. 9 Lindsey Wilson.....netted 20 points in an AMC South win at Rio Grande.....also scored 20 at NCAA Division III No. 1 Wooster.
High School - Produced a record-setting career at Worthington Christian High School.....named to the Ohio Division IV All-State First Team as a senior after averaging 27 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.....shot 44 percent from beyond the three-point line.....four-year starter.....graduated as the Warriors' second all-time leading scorer with 1,622 points.....school's all-time leader in career per game scoring average at 17.4.....set other school records for most three-point field goals made in a career (239) and most points scored in a season.....District Player of the Year.....MVP of Division III-IV North-South All-Star Game.....paced team to district championship during senior year.
Personal - Carries a pre-seminary Bible major at Cedarville University.....born 8/7/87 in Columbus, OH.....son of Blair and Ann Beals.....older sister, Brittany, is a junior at the University.....has one younger brother, Brady.
