Twinem signs on with Cedarville

Eden, Ontario native James Twinem (seated right) is joined by Yellow Jacket men's soccer coach Ben Belleman after signing a letter of intent to attend Cedarville University. The East Elgin Secondary School product totaled 34 goals and 40 assists in 40 games last season, is a three-time All-Thames Valley South Conference selection, and a three-year member of the St. Thomas Soccer Club. Clark coming to Cedarville

Medina High School product Jordan Clark (right) has signed a letter of intent to attend Cedarville University and play soccer for the Yellow Jackets. He is joined by his parents, Dave and Susan Clark, and is seated next to CU men's soccer coach Ben Belleman. Clark was a starting defender for Medina (Ohio) High School, who went 16-2-3, was ranked as high as #2 in Ohio Division I, and advanced to the region final. He earned All-District and Academic All-Ohio honors.

A native of Kent City, Mich. and a homeschool student, the 5-foot-10 forward joins the Yellow Jackets following club soccer experience with the West Michigan Fire and the Grand Valley Soccer Club.

Davis NCCAA All-American; three Jackets are scholar-athletes

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Ken Davis has been named an NCCAA All-American for the second consecutive year. The senior forward earned a spot on the 13-member Second Team after being tabbed a First Team All-American in 2006.

Davis and junior defender Tyler Scott were recognized as NAIA Scholar-Athletes which are juniors and seniors who maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average. The twosome, along with senior midfielder Josh Gelser, were NCCAA Scholar-Athletes which requires a 3.40 minimum GPA. [NCCAA AWARDS and NAIA SCHOLAR-ATHLETES]

Davis, Green head up CU's All-AMC selections

CEDARVILLE, Ohio (10-30-2007) - Ken Davis and Tim Green have been named to the American Mideast Conference South Division First Team for the 2007 season. They are two of five Yellow Jackets honored for their respective performances this fall.

Davis, a senior forward from San Antonio, Tex., leads the team in scoring with five goals and three assists for 13 points. He was an All-AMC Second Team choice the previous two years. Green, a freshman defender from Lakeland, Fla., is the only Yellow Jacket to start all 17 regular season matches. He was one of just two rookies named to the All-AMC First Team.

Ryan Lustig, a junior forward from West Chester, Ohio, and Kyle Segebart, a sophomore midfielder from Dayton, Ohio, were voted to the All-AMC South Second Team. John Norton, a senior goalkeeper from Cincinnati, Ohio, was recognized as honorable mention. [ALL-AMC SOUTH DIVISION MEN'S SOCCER TEAM]
