Josh Gelser is back for his fourth season with the Yellow Jackets and serves as a team captain.....played in 11 matches with two starts as a junior.....credited with one assist during a 6-0 AMC South Division victory over Shawnee State.....NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.
2005 - Appeared in 19 matches with two starts during his sophomore season.....tied for fifth on the team in scoring with two goals and four assists for eight points.....scored winning goal in 2-0 victory at Houghton.....netted tying goal in 2-2 deadlock versus Wittenberg.....assisted on overtime game winner in 2-1 AMC playoff decision against Ohio Dominican.
2004 - Played in 20 matches with five starts as a freshman.....tallied two goals with an assist for five points.....netted the game winner in the second overtime of a 2-1 AMC victory over Ohio Dominican.....first career goal was at NAIA No. 21 Roberts Wesleyan.
High School - Played four years of soccer and earned three letters at Vestal Senior High School.....twice named to the All-Southern Tier Athletic Conference team and played in the STAC All-Star senior game.....two-year team captain and led squad to conference championship.....played for New York Olympic Development Program.....member of state runner-up club team.....participated two seasons in track & field with two letters.....member of STAC and Section IV championship 4 x 400 meter relay team.
