John Norton has risen to the position of CU's top goalkeeper after laboring for two seasons in the junior varsity program.....assembled an outstanding junior campaign which culminated in his selection to the NCCAA National All-Tournament Team.....started all 21 matches recording four shutouts and a 1.53 goals against average.....totaled 22 saves at the NCCAA Nationals.....stopped 10 shots in a 1-0 victory over Palm Beach Atlantic in the semifinals and made nine saves in a 2-0 setback to MidAmerica Nazarene in the championship.....tallied six saves in a 1-0 Homecoming victory against Notre Dame.

High School - Three-year letter winner at Calvary Christian High School in Kentucky.....recorded 20 shutouts over his final three seasons including a school-record nine with a 1.32 goals against average as a senior.....had a career-low 1.18 GAA during his junior campaign.....named team's Defensive Player of the Year as a junior and senior.....member of one district runner-up club.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Carries an electrical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 7/20/86 in East Ridge, TN.....son of Joe and Mary Norton.....has three younger sisters.
