Derek Hostetter is one of two four-year players with the Yellow Jackets.....moved up to #5 singles during junior season and his 13-5 record led the team in wins.....has a 36-12 career singles record for a .750 winning percentage.....joined teammate Kevin Furst for five victories at #2 doubles.....NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....recognized as an NCCAA Ministry Athlete.

2006 - Paced the squad as a sophomore in victories with a 20-5 mark at #6 singles?..used sparingly in doubles with a 1-1 record.

2005 - Produced a 3-2 singles record as a freshman.....saw doubles action with three different partners recording a 4-1 mark overall.

High School - Four-year letter winner in tennis at Oxford Area High School.....also earned four letters in wrestling where he picked up all-conference first team honors his final three seasons.....wrestling squad won one district, two sectional, and three league championships during his career.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean's Honor List student as a pre-seminary Bible major at Cedarville University.....born 9/23/85 in Lancaster, PA.....son of Bernie and Karen Hostetter.....has two younger brothers.
