Grant Bacon expects to make an immediate contribution in the race walk as a freshman with the Yellow Jackets.....three-year letter winner at Skowhegan Area High School where he was the Maine Class A state champion in the race walk.....placed 3rd in the Nike Outdoor National 1 mile walk.....finished 6th in the 10K at the Junior National Championships.....holds the school record in the 1 mile walk in 7:12.33 and owns the Kennebee Valley Community Cup record at 7:30.....school-record holder in the pole vault.....served as a team captain in both cross country and track.....participated in three seasons of soccer with one letter earned.

Personal - Carries a political science and public administration double major at Cedarville University.....born 8/31/87 in Lewiston, ME.....son of Blaine Bacon and Sandra Bacon.....has two younger brothers and three younger sisters.
