Kelly Nowels is in his second season in the Yellow Jacket track & field program competing in the sprints and hurdles.....best outdoor time in the 400 meter hurdles was 57.15 seconds at the NCCAA Championship.....top marks indoors were 8.86 in the 55 meter hurdles and 9.59 in the 60 meter event.....ran the 400 meters three times indoors with a low time of 53.38 at Findlay.

High School - Four-year letter winner in track & field at Newbury High School.....graduated with the district 300 meter hurdles record at 39.9 seconds.....ran a career-best 39.8 in the event.....won three events in the conference meet as a senior in the 110 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles, and 4 x 200 relay.....best time in the 110 meter hurdles was 16.1 seconds.....four-year letter winner in soccer.....all-conference first team selection and played in the Greater Cleveland All-Star Game.....placekicker for one season on the football team.....class valedictorian.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Carries a media communications major at Cedarville University.....born 6/8/86 in Chicago, IL.....son of Elliott and Joy Nowels.....has one younger sister and a younger brother.
