Sammy Starr is a second-year sprinter for the Yellow Jackets.....finished 6th in the NCCAA indoor 55 meter dash in 6.67 seconds.....placed 6th in the NCCAA outdoor 400 meters in 50.37.....participated in the indoor 400 at the NAIA Championship.....also posted season bests of 11.24 in the outdoor 100 meter dash, 22.80 in the outdoor 200, 23.25 in the indoor 200, and 50.40 in the indoor 400.

High School - Two-year letter winner in track & field at Wilsonville High School.....member of Oregon AAA state championship squad.....part of 4 x 100 meter relay and 4 x 400 meter relay teams that won state titles.....placed 4th in the 200 meter dash.....earned district championships in all three events.....had personal bests of 11.3 seconds in the 100 meter dash, 22.75 in the 200, and 52.06 in the 400.....played four years of soccer with two letters.....also participated in baseball for two seasons.

Personal - Carries a mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 9/15/87 in Thousand Oaks, CA.....son of Scott and Tina Starr.....has two younger sisters.
