Sara Koepke returns to the CU women's softball team after leading the team in hitting last spring.....appeared in 36 games with 35 starts.....produced a .346 batting mark..... added 13 RBI's, 12 runs scored and a third-best 49 total bases.....voted to the NCCAA Midwest Region All-Tournament squad.....went 3-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI in a win over Spring Arbor at the NCCAA Midwest Regional.
High School - Produced a three-sport career at Sherrard High School.....four-year softball letter winner.....member of regional championship team in 2006.....named to the All-Area Team in 2005 and 2006.....earned honorable mention in 2004.....two-time offensive and defensive MVP.....registered 22 extra-base hits including four home runs and 26 RBI's during final high school campaign.....three-year letter winner in basketball.....also two-year letter winner in golf.....sectional qualifier in 2005.....National Honor Society student.
Personal - Carries an exercise science major at Cedarville University.....born 10/6/87.....daughter of Dean and Linda Koepke.....has one older sister.
