Jessica Reyes returns for her second season with the Lady Jackets after transferring from Cuesta College in California.....started all 37 games she appeared in.....second on the squad with a .342 batting average.....had team highs of nine doubles, four home runs, 63 total bases and .553 slugging percentage.....went 3-for-3 with three RBI's and a run scored against Cornerstone.....named to the NCCAA All-America First Team.....member of the NCCAA Midwest Region Team and NCCAA Midwest Region All-Tournament squad.....honored as an All-AMC South Division Second Team performer.
2006 - Ran in four varsity meets for the NAIA nationally-ranked CU women's cross country squad....season-best effort of 21:02 came at the NAIA Region IX meet.
2005-06 - Earned two letters in cross country at the junior college level.....accomplished softball player and was a member of 2006 state championship team.....two-time All-Western State Conference First Team selection.....finished her career with the second-highest batting average in school history.....hit .400 in 2005 and .372 in 2006.....homeschool graduate.
Personal - Carries a nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 11/21/85 in San Luis Obispo, CA.....daughter of Sergio and Nancy Reyes.....older brother, Sergio, as well as older sister, Christina, were both two-time NAIA cross country All-Americans at Cedarville.....older sister, Melissa, is a CU grad while younger sister, Rebecca, was a distance runner at Cuesta.
