Andrea Walker is back for her final season with the Lady Jacket softball squad.....will be one of three captains this spring.....played in all 39 games last season with 38 starts.....scored 12 runs with seven doubles and eight RBI's......recorded a .949 fielding percentage with seven errors in 129 chances.....drove in a season-high three runs against Shawnee State.....named to the NCCAA Midwest Region Team.....NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.
2006 - Appeared in all 46 games with 43 starts at shortstop and two at third base in 2006..... posted five doubles and two triples.....led squad with 107 assists.....registered eight two-hit games.....led team with 11 base on balls.....tied for sixth on the team with 14 runs scored.
2005 - Moved into a starting role as a shortstop.....posted a .969 fielding percentage with two errors.....recorded a .286 batting average in limited plate appearances.
High School - Three-sport participant at Peoria Christian High School.....four-year letter winner in softball.....named All-Conference First Team in 2004.....member of the Second Team in 2002.....three-year letter winner in basketball and volleyball.....team captured the 2002 volleyball sectional championship.....named All-Conference honorable mention in 2003.....National Honor Society student.
Personal - Dean's List student as a Christian education major at Cedarville University.....born 9/6/86 in Norfolk, VA.....daughter of David and Kathleen Walker.....has an older brother, two older sisters and a younger brother.
