April 25, at Shawnee State
Mallory White and Sarah Harnica combined to limit Shawnee State to 10 hits total and the Lady Jackets wrapped up the 2008 season with an AMC South Division doubleheader sweep. Cedarville won 4-0 and 2-1. White fired a complete-game four-hitter in the opener for her second shutout of the campaign. Cedarville totaled 12 hits as Sara Koepke and CrystalRae States each went 3-for-4. Aubree Munson had two hits including a triple and Charissa Rowe added two hits. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE] The Lady Jackets, who finish 18-24 overall and 7-13 AMC, totaled just three hits in the second game, but two of them came in the 6th inning when they scored their two runs with two outs to take a 2-1 lead. Rowe singled in Koepke and Munson followed with an RBI triple. Winning pitcher Harnica allowed six hits in 5 1/3 innings and White shut down the Bears over the final 1 2/3 innings to get the save. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE] White pitched in a school-record 37 games this spring and set another new mark with 15 relief appearances. She was 13-12 with two saves, 17 complete games, and a 2.94 ERA.

April 22, URBANA
Cedarville completed the home portion of the 2008 schedule with a win and a loss against American Mideast Conference South Division foe Urbana. The Lady Jackets rallied to win the opener, 5-3, and the Blue Knights put together a comeback of their own to take game two, 4-3. Cedarville trailed 3-1 in the first game before bouncing back with two runs each in the 5th and 6th innings. Jenna Fox scored on a throwing error in the 6th to break a 3-3 tie and Christina Zorn singled home Sara Koepke with an insurance run. Aubree Munson was 2-for-3 with two RBI's while Jessica Reyes tripled and scored a run. Winning pitcher Mallory White struck out four batters and upped her record to 12-11. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE] It was Urbana that erased a 3-0 deficit in the nightcap. The Blue Knights scored twice in the 3rd inning and then stunned CU by scoring two more after the first batter was retired in the 7th. Zorn was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. April 19, Indiana Wesleyan (NCCAA Midwest Regional)
Indiana Wesleyan ended the Lady Jackets' stay at the NCCAA Midwest Regional with an 11-0 rout. The #1 seeded Wildcats overwhelmed CU leading 5-0 after two innings while handcuffing the Lady Jackets on just one hit. Charissa Rowe came up with the lone single for Cedarville, 15-23 overall. Jenna Fox, Sara Koepke, and Sarah Hoffman were named to the all-tournament team. Fox, Aubree Munson, Jessica Reyes, and Andrea Walker all earned spots on the 2008 All-NCCAA Midwest Region Team. April 19, at Spring Arbor (NCCAA Midwest Regional)
Host Spring Arbor hammered the Lady Jackets, 10-3, on day two of the NCCAA Midwest Regional. The Cougars scored three runs in their first at bat and made it 5-0 before Cedarville plated three runs in the bottom of the 6th. Sara Koepke was 3-for-3 with two runs batted in. Jenna Fox and Sarah Hoffman contributed two hits each. Spring Arbor clinched the outcome with a five-run 7th inning. [BOXSCORE]

April 18, Indiana Wesleyan (NCCAA Midwest Regional)
Top-seeded Indiana Wesleyan stunned the Lady Jackets 8-7 in 8 innings to wrap up first-round action at the NCCAA Midwest Regional. Cedarville let a 5-2 lead slip away against IWU, scored two runs in the top of the 8th inning for a 7-5 advantage, and then watched as the Wildcats answered with three runs to win it. CrsytalRae States was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer. Jenna Fox was 2-for-4 with a double and Andrea Walker was 2-for-3. [BOXSCORE]

April 18, at Spring Arbor (NCCAA Midwest Regional)
The Lady Jackets rallied to beat host Spring Arbor, 4-3, to open play at the NCCAA Midwest Regional. The #2 seeded Cougars jumped out to a 3-0 lead against #3 Cedarville. The Jackets rallied with two runs in the 4th inning, a run in the 5th, and another in the 6th. Jenna Fox drew a two-out walk and Sara Koepke's double brought her home with the decisive run. Winning pitcher Mallory White scattered nine hits while striking out seven. Cedarville made the most of six hits. Koepke was 2-for-3 with two RBI's. Fox doubled in a run and scored twice. [BOXSCORE]

April 17, OHIO DOMINICAN
Cedarville recorded one run and 10 hits total in dropping an AMC South Division doubleheader to Ohio Dominican at Lady Jacket Field. The Panthers completed the four-game season series sweep by scores of 7-0 and 4-1. The Panthers broke a scoreless tie in the opener with five runs in the 5th inning, but only two were earned. Five separate Lady Jackets singled and the hosts twice had a runner at third base with one out and could not dent the plate. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE] ODU, 14-19 overall and 8-2 AMC, never trailed in the nightcap after scoring twice in the 2nd inning. Cedarville scored its only run of the day in the bottom half when Sara Koepke walked, stole second, and scored on Aubree Munson's fourth triple of the season. She finished with two hits, CrystalRae States added two hits, and Sarah Hoffman singled. The Jackets, 14-20 and 4-12 AMC, left 10 runners on base. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE]

April 15, at Urbana
Aubree Munson drove in all four runs to lead the Lady Jackets to a 4-1 AMC South Division victory at Urbana. The host Blue Knights cruised in the nightcap, 10-1. Munson's RBI groundout in the 1st inning got the scoring started. After Urbana tied it in the 2nd inning, Cedarville took the lead for good in the 3rd when Jessica Reyes doubled and came across on a sacrifice fly by Munson. The Jackets added two more runs in the 5th when Munson ripped a two-run homer to center field. Mallory White was the winning pitcher on a complete-game four-hitter which included 11 strikeouts. Reyes was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored while Andrea Walker added two hits. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE] Game two was all Urbana as the Blue Knights used a six-run 3rd inning to bolt to a 10-0 lead. Jenna Fox had two hits and Sara Koepke doubled for the Lady Jackets, 14-18 overall and 4-10 AMC. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE]

April 12, at Mount Vernon Nazarene
Two days after dropping both games of an American Mideast Conference South Division doubleheader at Lady Jacket Field, Mount Vernon Nazarene used a pair of six-run innings to sweep Cedarville in the rematch. The Cougars were winners 8-0 and 6-4. The Jackets came up with just three hits total in the opener including a triple from Sarah Koepke. MVNU scored twice in the 3rd inning and six more times in the 4th. The game was halted after five innings by the eight-run mercy rule. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE] Cedarville, 13-17 overall and 3-9 AMC, jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second contest until the Cougars responded with their second six-run inning of the day in the 3rd. Andrea Walker stroked a pair of doubles while Jessica Reyes and Aubree Munson each tripled and totaled two hits apiece. MVNU improved to 16-8 and 7-5 AMC. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE]

April 10, MOUNT VERNON NAZARENE
Aubree Munson's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 8th inning scored Jessica Reyes to give the Lady Jackets a 1-0 victory over Mount Vernon Nazarene and a sweep of their AMC South Division doubleheader. Cedarville won the opener, 6-4, in what was the first twinbill played on campus this spring. Reyes opened the 8th with a triple to right centerfield. Sara Koepke followed with a bunt single and eventually stole second. The lefthanded-batting Munson lofted a fly ball to left that brought Reyes home. Sarah Harnica and Mallory White combined for a three-hit shutout with White picking up the victory. CrystalRae States and Christina Zorn recorded two hits each for Cedarville, 13-15 overall and 3-7 AMC. Mount Vernon Nazarene drops to 14-8 and 5-5 AMC. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE] Reyes and Munson provided the big hits in the opener. Reyes' two-run triple finished off a four-run 2nd inning which gave CU a 4-0 lead. After the Cougars closed the gap to 4-3, Munson delivered a two-out, two-run double in the 6th to push the margin up to 6-3. States added an RBI double and White struck out five batters during her 11th complete game of the season. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE]

April 8, at Ohio Dominican
Ohio Dominican won a pair of tight American Mideast Conference South Division contests from the Lady Jackets. The Panthers came out on top 2-1 in eight innings and 4-1. Cedarville scored first in the opener when Sarah Hoffman delivered a two-out single in the 4th inning to bring Jenna Fox across the plate. ODU tied it with an unearned run in the 6th inning and got the winner on another unearned run in the 8th. CrystalRae States was 2-for-3 while Jessica Reyes had a base hit and a stolen base. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE] Ohio Dominican scored three times in the 3rd inning of the second contest to take command. The Jackets put their run across in the 5th when they produced four of the five hits they totaled for the game. Reyes singled home Christina Zorn with one out, but CU left the bases loaded. April 5, SHAWNEE STATE (at AIA Complex)
Andrea Walker homered and winning pitcher Mallory White picked up her seventh victory of the season to lead the Lady Jackets to a 5-3 decision over Shawnee State in an American Mideast Conference game. The Bears won the opener, 7-3, in the twinbill played at the Athletes in Action Sports Complex. CU, 11-13 overall and 1-5 AMC, jumped out to a 4-0 lead through three innings of the second game. Four of the Lady Jackets' six hits were for extra bases including Walker's home run. CrystalRae States tripled, Jenna Fox had a pair of hits with a double, and Charissa Rowe doubled with two RBI's. White struck out three batters and improved her record to 7-5. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE] Cedarville could only produce singles off the bats of Jessica Reyes and Sarah Hoffman in the first game. Shawnee State tallied 10 hits and bolted to a 6-0 advantage in their first three at bats. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE]

April 4, INDIANA WESLEYAN (at AIA Complex)
Cedarville ended a four-game slide by outlasting Indiana Wesleyan 8-7 in nine innings in the first game of a doubleheader played at the Athletes in Action Sports Complex. The Wildcats won the nightcap, 10-2. Sara Koepke tied a school record with three doubles in the first game and drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Jessica Reyes started the frame on second base via the international tiebreaker. Koepke pushed a bunt past the pitcher and charging second baseman for a double while Reyes sprinted home. IWU had rallied from a 7-1 deficit to force extra innings. Koepke was 4-for-4 in the contest with two runs scored and two RBI's. Jenna Fox had two hits and Reyes scored twice. Freshman Sarah Harnica pitched the final 3 2/3 innings in relief to get the victory. Koepke equaled the school mark of three doubles in a game first set in 1990 by NAIA All-American Denise DeWalt and then matched in 1996 by Penni Ruhl, who pulled off the feat twice in a span of four days. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE] Cedarville, 10-12 overall, jumped out to a 2-0 margin in the second contest. However, the Wildcats, 8-10, scored five times in the 2nd inning to grab the lead for good. April 1, RIO GRANDE (at AIA Complex)
Rio Grande totaled 45 hits to finish off three American Mideast Conference wins against the Lady Jackets at the AIA Sports Complex in Xenia. The Redwomen rallied to win the completion of a suspended game, 10-9, before thumping Cedarville 14-5 and 14-0. The first order of business was to finish a game that was suspended a day earlier at Rio because of rain in the top of the 3rd inning with a 3-3 tie. The Jackets scored twice after two were out in the top of the 7th to take a 9-8 lead, but the Redwomen answered with two runs to pull out the victory. Aubree Munson was 3-for-3 with a triple and three runs scored while Christina Zorn added three hits. Jessica Reyes doubled, tripled, and scored three times. Andrea Walker tallied two hits and three RBI's with Sara Koepke adding two hits and two RBI's. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE (3/31/08)] In the first game of the regularly scheduled twinbill, Cedarville jumped out to a 3-1 lead. Rio took over with nine runs in the top of the 4th inning and added four more in the 5th. The Redwomen hammered three homers as part of their 15-hit attack. Koepke, Munson, and Walker all doubled for the Jackets. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE] Rio Grande, 10-6 overall and 4-0 AMC, opened the nightcap with eight runs in their first at bat. The Lady Jackets, 9-11 and 0-4 AMC, had nine hits in the contest and stranded nine runners on base. Munson had three hits and a double. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE]

March 31, at Rio Grande
Cedarville dropped a 6-4 decision at Rio Grande to open the American Mideast Conference season and the second game was suspended because of rain in the 3rd inning of a 3-3 tie. It will be resumed on April 1 following the regularly scheduled doubleheader between the two teams at the Athletes in Action Complex in Xenia. The host Redwomen rallied from 3-1 and 4-3 deficits to pull out the win with a three-run 5th inning. Aubree Munson had a pair of hits including a solo home run and two RBI's. CrystalRae States was 2-for-3 with an RBI, Jenna Fox added two hits, and Christina Zorn doubled. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE]

March 29, SIENA HEIGHTS (at AIA Complex)
The Lady Jackets totaled 20 hits including nine for extra bases to sweep Siena Heights in a non-conference twinbill at the Athletes in Action Sports Complex. Cedarville won 6-1 and 8-0 to run its winning streak to four in a row to improve to 9-7 overall. CU put four runs on the board in the 3rd inning of the opener with the big blow a two-run homer by CrystalRae States. Aubree Munson doubled twice and Jessica Reyes added two hits. Mallory White was stellar in the circle again allowing just two hits in five innings with a career-high 12 strikeouts and no walks en route to her fifth victory. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE] It was all Lady Jackets in the second contest which was halted after six innings because of the eight-run mercy rule. Sara Koepke was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and States had two hits including another two-run shot. Jenna Fox doubled twice and drove in two runs. White pitched 4 2/3 innings in relief with five strikeouts as she upped her record to 6-3. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE]

March 27, WILMINGTON (at AIA Complex)
Sophomore righthander Mallory White was the winning pitcher in both games as Cedarville took a pair of non-conference games from Wilmington at the Athletes in Action Sports Complex. The Lady Jackets came away with 4-0 and 7-3 victories. White tossed a complete-game three-hitter in the opener with six strikeouts. Cedarville broke a scoreless tie in the 5th inning by scoring twice without the aid of a hit. The hosts took advantage of two walks, two hit batters, and two wild pitches. Sara Koepke drilled a two-run double in the 6th to account for the final. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE] In the nightcap, Jessica Reyes ripped a pair of doubles, scored three runs, and drove in two others including the go ahead RBI in the 4th inning to break a 3-3 deadlock. Koepke was 2-for-3 with two RBI's, Aubree Munson doubled in two runs, and Charissa Rowe scored twice for the Lady Jackets, 7-7 overall. White pitched 3 1/3 innings in relief to get her second win of the day after allowing one hit and striking out four. Wilmington drops to 6-10. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE]

March 25, at Bluffton
The Cedarville bats were as cold as the weather as the Lady Jackets totaled seven hits in a non-conference twinbill setback at Bluffton. The host Beavers won by scores of 10-2 and 9-2. Four CU errors led to seven unearned runs allowed in the opener. Bluffton put six runs on the boards in the 1st inning and kept control in the contest which was called after six innings because of the eight-run mercy rule. The Lady Jackets had singles from Jessica Reyes, Charissa Rowe, Aubree Munson, and Andrea Walker. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE] Cedarville could come up with only three more singles in the nightcap. The Jackets scored both of their runs in the top of the 3rd inning for a 2-1 lead, but Bluffton answered with four runs in the bottom half of the frame to take the lead for good. Munson, Jenna Fox, and Rachel Ross produced the hits for CU, 5-7 overall. Bluffton improved to 9-7 with the two wins. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE]

March 17, ROCHESTER (Mich.) (at AIA Complex)
The Lady Jackets used a seven-run 5th inning to defeat Rochester (Mich.) 11-5 to complete a sweep of their non-conference doubleheader at the Athletes in Action Sports Complex. Cedarville claimed the opener, 3-2. The Jackets, 5-5 overall, rapped out 13 hits in the nightcap and five separate players had two hits apiece. The quintet included Jessica Reyes, Sara Koepke, and Sarah Hoffman, who each had a double. Jenna Fox and CrystalRae States also had a pair of hits each while Andrea Walker tripled. States and Aubree Munson droves in two runs each and winning pitcher Sarah Harnica picked up her third victory. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE] Charissa Rowe's RBI fielder's choice grounder with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th inning scored States with the winner in game one. States had doubled to lead off the frame. Fox had a double while Jessica Reyes was 2-for-3 with a double. Winning pitcher Mallory White hurled a complete-game four-hitter with five strikeouts. March 6, Carlow (Cocoa Beach, Fla.)
Cedarville split a twinbill with American Mideast Conference member Carlow with a 3-2 win following a 2-1 setback in eight innings during the first game. The Lady Jackets jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the nightcap. The big blow was a two-run single by Christina Zorn. Jenna Fox had two hits and winning pitcher Sarah Harnica tossed a complete-game three-hitter. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE] CU stranded the tying run at the third base in the bottom of the 8th of the opener. Fox was 2-for-3 with a run scored and Sarah Hoffman had the RBI. Mallory White pitched all eight innings and fanned six batters. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE]

March 4, Hannibal-LaGrange (Cocoa Beach, Fla.)
The Lady Jackets gave head coach Wes Rowe his first collegiate victories by sweeping a doubleheader from Hannibal-LaGrange. Cedarville won by scores of 2-1 and 11-8. In the opener, winning pitcher Mallory White struck out six and allowed five hits while going the distance. Jessica Reyes and Christina Zorn both went 2-for-2 with a run scored. Aubree Munson drove in both runs with a 2-for-3 performance. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE] The Jackets broke open a tight affair in game two by scoring four times in the top of the 6th inning. Jenna Fox was 3-for-3 with a pair runs batted in. Sara Koepke was 2-for-3 with four RBI's while Christina Zorn and Charissa Rowe added two hits each. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE]

March 3, King's (Cocoa Beach, Fla.)
King's (Pa.) swept a non-conference doubleheader from Cedarville by scores of 10-3 and 3-0. Jessica Reyes recorded two hits in the opener. CrystalRae States tripled and Aubree Munson added a double. [GAME 1 BOXSCORE] Jenna Fox had the only hit in the nightcap as the Lady Jackets faced a one-hitter for the second time in three games. [GAME 2 BOXSCORE]

March 1, Point Park (Cocoa Beach, Fla.)
Point Park checked the Lady Jacket offense in posting a 2-0 decision. Charisa Rowe had the only hit of the contest for CU. The Pioneers are members of the American Mideast Conference North Division. [BOXSCORE]

March 1, Valley City State (Cocoa Beach, Fla.)
