Maija Hampton returns for her junior season with the Lady Jacket volleyball program.....valuable all-around performer.....appeared in 54 matches and 178 games during sophomore season.....registered a second-best 672 digs.....tallied 52 service aces along with 185 kills and 41 blocks.....posted a season-high 21 digs in a match against Hope International at the NCCAA National Tournament.....recorded double figures in digs in 38 other matches.....powered a career-high 13 kills against AMC South Division rival Walsh.

2005 - Appeared in 48 matches and 152 games as a freshman.....second on the squad with a .958 serving percentage.....fifth in digs with 480.....registered a season-high 28 digs against Doane at the NAIA National Tournament.....hit double figures in digs in 20 other matches.....received the team's Most Improved Player award.

High School - Posted a successful two-sport career at Central Baptist High School.....four-year member of the volleyball squad.....school's all-time career leader in kills (790), digs (398), aces (186) and blocks....led team in kills each of the last three seasons.....named school's Female Athlete of the Year in 2003-04.....three-year basketball performer at Central Baptist.....team captured the ACSI state championship during her junior year.....all-time leader in steals with 423....eighth all-time leading scorer at CBHS with 583 points.....named Who's Who Among American High School students.
