Sarah Ensslen returns for her final outdoor campaign with the Lady Jacket track & field squad.....has completed her indoor season eligibility.....is one of the most successful jumpers ever to compete at Cedarville University.....won both the NAIA indoor and outdoor triple jump titles last year to earn NAIA All-America recognition.....posted a school record-tying effort of 42-feet even to win the NAIA Outdoor triple jump event.....also won triple jump titles at the American Mideast Conference Championship and the NCCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships.....named the AMC Outstanding Field Event Performer of the Meet.....All-AMC First Team in the high jump, long jump and triple jump.....registered 185 individual points during the 2007 indoor/outdoor season.....named NAIA, NCCAA and AMC Scholar-Athlete.
2006 - Produced a successful indoor campaign with a women's team-high 88 points.....captured the triple jump title at the Cedarville Indoor Invitational with a career-best 39-01.75 effort.....garnered the 2006 NCCAA indoor triple jump championship with a 38-07.00 effort.....tied a school-record in the long jump with an 18-3.75 performance to place third at the Cedarville Indoor Invitational.....named an NCCAA Indoor All-American in the long jump, triple jump, 4 x 200 meter relay and 4 x 400 meter relay.....hampered by injuries during outdoor season.....scored in just one meet - a 4th-place finish in the high jump at the Emory Classic.
2005 - Named a team captain.....compiled 140 points during the indoor and outdoor seasons to pace the Lady Jackets in scoring.....NCCAA outdoor champion in both long jump and triple jump to earn All-America honors.....captured American Mideast Conference long jump (18-0.75) and triple jump (36-5.25) titles.....NAIA Indoor All-American performer in the triple jump with a 38-0 effort to finish in sixth place.....NCCAA indoor champion in the triple jump (36-3) to earn All-America honors.....also garnered long jump and triple jump titles at the Emory University Classic while finishing first in the triple jump at the Yellow Jacket Open.
2004 - CU's top women's point scorer with 77.25.....NCCAA outdoor triple jump champion with a 37-4.50 effort.....member of the NCCAA outdoor 4 x 100 meter relay winning squad.....NCCAA indoor and AMC triple jump champion.....NAIA Indoor All-American and NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the triple jump....earned NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the 4 x 100 meter relay....member of the AMC Team in triple jump.....captured the triple jump title at the Yellow Jacket Open with a season-best 38-1.25....also earned first-place finishes at the AMC Championships, Muskingum College Invitational, Ohio Northern Invitational and the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational....registered a season-best 17-6.25 effort in the long jump for a second-place finish at the Yellow Jacket Open....also finished second in the long jump at the Ohio Northern Invitational (16-3.75) and the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational (15-7.75).
High School - Three-year letter winner in track & field at Downington High School....specialized in the triple jump finishing 8th in the state during sophomore year, 2nd in the state for her junior year and 4th in the state during her senior campaign.....also participated in two years of indoor track in high school.....National Honor Society Student.
Personal - Psychology major at Cedarville University.....born 5/2/85 in Bryn Mawr, PA.....daughter of William and Suzanne Ensslen.....has two older brothers and a younger sister, Johanna, who is a freshman at CU and also a member of the track squad as a sprinter.
