Elisabeth Pyles has developed into one of Cedarville's top distance runners.....serves as a team captain.....NAIA All-American as a sophomore with a time of 18:24 to place 12th of 268 runners.....repeated as NCCAA All-American finishing 8th in 19:14.....AMC/NAIA Region IX runner-up with a career-best time in the 5K of 18:19.....ran 19:23 or faster in all eight varsity meets.....NAIA Outdoor All-American on the track in the 3,000 meter steeplechase for second straight year by placing 4th in 11:07.04.....successfully defended title in the event at the NCCAA meet in 11:08.94.....American Mideast Conference steeplechase champion.
2005 - Produced a notable rookie season as a Lady Jacket.....placed among the team's top four finishers in all eight varsity meets breaking the 20:00 barrier each time.....NCCAA All-American after placing 14th overall with a season-best time of 18:42 for the 5K.....All-AMC First Team performer upon finishing 5th overall in 18:54.....placed 43rd of 259 runners at the NAIA Nationals in 18:47.....NCCAA 3,000 meter steeplechase champion on the track in 11:04.93.....NAIA runner-up in 11:06.98 for All-America honors.....AMC runner-up in the steeple.
High School - Enjoyed an outstanding track & field career at Cedarville High School.....Ohio Division III state champion in the 3,200 meters as a senior with a school record time of 11:20.56.....also captured district and regional titles in the event.....holds other school records in the 1,600 (5:23.47), 4 x 400 meter relay (4:00.47), and 4 x 800 meter relay (9:50.59).....member of 2003 state runner-up 4 x 400 meter relay unit as a sophomore that set the school mark.....All-Ohio Heritage Conference performer all four years and was a league champion in multiple events.....four-year letter winner in basketball.....played four seasons of volleyball with three letters.....one of three valedictorians of graduating class.....National Honor Society student.
