Julianne Pletcher (center) battles two Miami University-Oxford runners during the Ohio Intercollegiate Championships on Oct. 11. The senior from Tacoma, WA finished 12th out of 253 runners as the Jackets placed 5th of 35 teams that included all of the state's major colleges. Pletcher was the NCCAA National Champion and earned NAIA All-America honors for the third straight year.

With the Lady Jackets graduating four seniors from the 1996 squad, sophomore Christy Taylor (right) will be expected to move up in the line-up. The Cedarville High School product placed ninth at the Mid-Ohio Conference Championships to earn honorable mention recognition from the MOC.
