Senior co-captain Josh Lunney posted a team-high .354 batting average in 1998. He paced the squad in 11 offensive categories and was named to the All-NCCAA Midwest Region Team as well as the All-Mid-Ohio Conference Second Team.
Freshman righthander Ryan Creeden made nine pitching appearances during the season. He also ranked second on the team with a .319 batting average.
Freshman outfielder Micah Hutchins started all 29 games in which he played. He topped the ball club in runs batted in with 14.
