March 5, at Concordia (NCCAA Midwest Regional Semifinals)
The free throw line was the difference as Concordia outlasted the Lady Jackets, 89-83. The host Cardinals outscored Cedarville 28-5 from the charity stripe. Amanda Porter paced five Jackets in double figures with 19 points and was joined by Summer Bennington (16), Heather French (14), Tara Swaney (14), and Julie Nourse (12). BOXSCORE

Feb. 28, at Transylvania (NAIA Division I Great Lakes Sectional First Round)
Transylvania used a 12-2 run midway through the second half to pull away from Cedarville for an 89-63 win in the first round of the NAIA Division I Great Lakes Sectional. The Lady Jackets gave up the first 11 points of the game, but then battled back to lead 19-17. The host Pioneers rebounded for a 39-28 halftime advantage prior to the decisive second period spurt. Amanda Porter netted 14 points for Cedarville, Heather French had 13, and Julie Nourse added 12 points and 11 rebounds. BOXSCORE

Feb. 24, at Findlay
Findlay, ranked No. 24 in NAIA Division I, pulled away in the second half for a 77-52 non-conference win in the Lady Jackets regular season finale. The Oilers were held to 23 percent shooting in the first half which resulted in a 26-26 halftime deadlock, but the hosts used a 20-6 advantage from the free throw line for the game to break it open. Summer Bennington netted 15 points for Cedarville. BOXSCORE

Feb. 21, at Tiffin
Tiffin University edged out Cedarville, 70-63, in a Mid-Ohio Conference game. Summer Bennington totalled 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Lady Jackets while Heather French added 11 points. The Dragons outscored the visitors 22-6 at the foul line and held Cedarville to 32 percent shooting from the field. BOXSCORE

Feb. 17, URBANA
The Lady Jackets rallied from a 17-point deficit to take a one-point lead, but could not hold on in a 75-63 loss to Urbana in Mid-Ohio Conference action. Cedarville trailed 47-30 early in the second half before rallying for a 53-52 advantage at the 7:45 mark. The Blue Knights took control with a 16-7 run over the next five minutes. Freshman center Julie Nourse totalled 16 points and 13 rebounds while junior guard Heather French had 16 points. Summer Bennington chipped in 11 points. BOXSCORE

Feb. 14, WALSH
Walsh University, ranked No. 17 in NAIA Division II, defeated the Lady Jackets 83-62 in a Mid-Ohio Conference game. The Cavaliers shot 57 percent from the field in the second half and used a 21-7 run midway through the period to pull away. Freshman center Julie Nourse tallied 16 points and nine rebounds for Cedarville. BOXSCORE

Feb. 12, MT. VERNON NAZARENE
Mt. Vernon Nazarene pulled away in the second half for a 79-66 Mid-Ohio Conference victory over the Lady Jackets. The Cougars used a 13-2 run in a five-minute time span late in the game to take command. Freshman center Julie Nourse had 24 points and 11 rebounds for Cedarville while classmate Amanda Porter added 17 points. BOXSCORE

Feb. 7, at Ohio Dominican
Ohio Dominican roared out to a 20-point halftime lead and cruised to an 86-66 win over the Lady Jackets in a Mid-Ohio Conference game. Freshman guard Amanda Porter had 21 points for Cedarville, classmate Julie Nourse totalled 12, and Summer Bennington added 11. BOXSCORE

Feb. 3, SHAWNEE STATE
Shawnee State scored with three seconds to play for a 77-75 overtime victory against the Lady Jackets. Julie Nourse had tied the game on a field goal with 50 seconds left before the winning shot. Loree Beth Fraley hit two free throws with ten seconds to go in regulation to send the game into overtime. Nourse had 19 points, Summer Bennington 16, and Amanda Porter 14. BOXSCORE

Jan. 31, MALONE
The Lady Jackets ended a five-game losing streak by thrashing Malone, 91-61, in a Mid-Ohio Conference game. Cedarville scored the first eight points of the game, led 51-25 at halftime, and extended the bulge to as much as 76-40 midway through the second half. Loree Beth Fraley came off the bench to score 18 points. Other players in double figures were Amanda Porter with 16 points, Summer Bennington 14, and Julie Nourse 10. BOXSCORE

Jan. 27, WILMINGTON
Wilmington blitzed Cedarville with an 18-2 run early in the second half and rode the momentum for an 82-63 non-conference win. The Yellow Jackets were outscored 53-27 in the decisive second half after leading 36-29 at the intermission. Amanda Porter was the only Lady Jacket to hit double figures with 16 points. BOXSCORE

Jan. 24, at Rio Grande
Rio Grande outlasted Cedarville, 91-87, in a Mid-Ohio Conference game. The Lady Jackets faced several double-digit deficits but outscored the Redwomen 10-1 over the final 1:20 only to run out of time. Rookie center Julie Nourse piled up 26 points and 14 rebounds for Cedarville. Also scoring in double figures were Heather French with 16 points, Loree Beth Fraley 12, Charity Cole 11, and Summer Bennington 10. BOXSCORE

Jan. 20, at Urbana
Urbana blitzed the Lady Jackets in the second half for an 86-66 Mid-Ohio Conference win. The two teams were tied at halftime, 37-all, but the Blue Knights shot 53 percent from the field in the second half as compared to 39 percent for the visitors. Heather French was the only Yellow Jacket to score in double figures with 10 points while Summer Bennington had 11 rebounds. Cedarville committed 36 turnovers to 18 for Urbana. BOXSCORE

Jan. 17, at Walsh
Walsh pulled away in the second half for an 82-59 Mid-Ohio Conference victory over Cedarville. The Lady Jackets trailed 39-32 at halftime and then shot just 24.4 percent from the field in the decisive second period. Freshman guard Amanda Porter had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Cedarville while classmate Julie Nourse added 10 points. BOXSCORE

Jan. 13, at Mt. Vernon Nazarene
Mt. Vernon Nazarene scored the final 11 points of the game in a 77-65 Mid-Ohio Conference victory over Cedarville. The Lady Jackets did not score in the final 4:30 of the contest. Julie Nourse had game-highs of 22 points and eight rebounds while Tara Swaney netted a career-high 16 points. BOXSCORE

Jan. 10, OHIO DOMINICAN
Senior captain Summer Bennington scored 21 points and rookie center Julie Nourse totalled 20 points, 11 rebounds, and six steals in a 95-80 victory over Ohio Dominican in Mid-Ohio Conference action. The Jackets shot 56 percent for the game including 62 percent in the first half. Tara Swaney had 11 points while Charity Cole and Loree Beth Fraley chipped in 10 points each. BOXSCORE

Jan. 6, TIFFIN
The Lady Jackets never trailed in a 72-67 Mid-Ohio Conference victory over Tiffin in what was there first game in nearly three weeks. Cedarville extended a 12-point halftime lead to 42-29 early in the second half and the Dragons got no closer than five points the rest of the way. Amanda Porter netted 14 points and Summer Bennington added 12 for the Jackets. BOXSCORE

Dec. 17, at Shawnee State
Shawnee State, ranked No. 3 in NAIA Division II, pulled away in the second half for a 73-59 Mid-Ohio Conference victory over the Lady Jackets. The two teams were tied 36-36 at halftime. Julie Nourse had 13 points and Heather French added 12 for Cedarville. BOXSCORE

Dec. 13, at Liberty
NCAA Division I Liberty University rolled to a 103-61 victory over Cedarville. Senior captain Summer Bennington returned to her hometown of Lynchburg, Va. to score 15 points while Charity Cole came off the bench with 12. BOXSCORE

Dec. 9, at Wilberforce
Summer Bennington scored 21 points and hauled in 12 rebounds to pace Cedarville to a 75-68 non-conference win at Wilberforce. Gillian Gombis and Amanda Porter netted 12 points each. The two teams had 42 rebounds apiece and they combined for 67 total turnovers. BOXSCORE

Dec. 6, RIO GRANDE
Rio Grande outgunned host Cedarville, 96-84, in a Mid-Ohio Conference game. The Redwomen blew out to a 42-23 halftime lead and they upped the spread to 27 points at the 8:15 mark. A 25-10 Yellow Jacket spurt closed the gap to 86-74 with 3:35 to play, but that was as close as the home team would come. Summer Bennington had 20 points and 11 rebounds while Julie Nourse added 19 points and 15 boards. Gillian Gombis was good for 14 points and Heather French chipped in 10. BOXSCORE

Dec. 4, at Malone
Senior captain Summer Bennington scored 23 points to help the Lady Jackets rally from an 11-point halftime deficit for a 70-62 win at Malone in their Mid-Ohio Conference opener. Cedarville hit 56.3 percent of their shots in the final 20 minutes while Malone was held to a 26.5 percent accuracy. Heather French and Charity Cole tallied 12 points each and Julie Nourse added 10. Dec. 2, at Bluffton
Bluffton scored the final nine points of the game to pull away for a 73-60 non-conference victory over the Lady Jackets. The Beavers led 31-24 at halftime and Cedarville got as close as four points on three occasions in the second period, the last of which was a 64-60 deficit with 2:25 to play. Freshman center Julie Nourse totalled 14 points and eight rebounds for the Jackets. Cassandra Goralski had 11 points and Gillian Gombis chipped in 10. BOXSCORE

Nov. 25, MOUNT ST. JOSEPH
The Lady Jackets matched last year's victory total of four wins with an easy 86-53 romp past Mount St. Joseph. Cedarville led 35-26 at halftime and then opened the second half with a 10-3 run to take command. Heather French and Amanda Porter had 13 points each, Summer Bennington totalled 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Loree Beth Fraley and Charity Cole added 10 points apiece. BOXSCORE

Nov. 22, CENTRAL STATE (Cedarville Invitational)
The Lady Marauders proved their NAIA Division I No. 9 ranking with a 76-52 victory over Cedarville in the championship game of the Jackets' Invitational. CSU led 37-23 at halftime and Cedarville could get no closer than 11 points the rest of the way. Loree Beth Fraley was the only Lady Jacket to hit double figures with 12 points. Freshman Julie Nourse was voted to the all-tournament team. BOXSCORE

Nov. 21, GRACE (Cedarville Invitational)
Rookie forward Julie Nourse scored 19 points to lead Cedarville to a 65-59 victory against Grace in the first round of the Lady Jackets' own invitational. Cedarville took the lead for good with 7:15 to play and then hung on by converting nine straight free throws down the stretch. BOXSCORE

Nov. 18, at Taylor
Cedarville rallied from a 22-point deficit to post a 62-57 non-conference victory at Taylor, who entered the game preseason ranked No. 10 in NAIA Division II. The Lady Jackets dug a deep hole and trailed 37-17 at halftime. They finally tied the contest with 2:45 left and took the lead for good, 60-57, with 1:24 remaining on a three-pointer by Heather French, who paced Cedarville with 16 points. Rookie forward Julie Nourse came off the bench to net 14 points and Gillian Gombis added 12. Assistant coach Beth Callinan guided the team as head coach Kathy Freese didn't make the trip due to illness. BOXSCORE

Nov. 15, Glenville State (Davis & Elkins Classic)
Glenville State pulled away for a 56-46 victory over Cedarville in the final day of the Davis & Elkins Classic. Loree Beth Fraley came off the bench to tally 12 points for the Lady Jackets while Gillian Gombis hauled in a game-high 12 rebounds. BOXSCORE

Nov. 14, at Davis & Elkins (Davis & Elkins Classic)
Heather French paced three Lady Jackets in double figures with 18 points in a season-opening 75-70 victory at Davis & Elkins in the opening round of the Lady Senators own classic. The win ended a 17-game road losing streak for Cedarville dating back to the 1995-96 season. Freshman Amanda Porter came off the bench to score 14 points while Loree Beth Fraley added 12. Summer Bennington grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds. BOXSCORE
