Ben Thompson, a junior from Caledonia, Michigan, was healthy for the full season which enabled him to become the Yellow Jackets number one runner. He earned NCCAA All-America honors by placing 8th out of 142 runners in a season-best time of 25:25 for the 8,000 meters. He finished 4th in the Mid-Ohio Conference and 36th of 336 runners at the NAIA Nationals.
David Rea, a senior from Clarkston, Wash., shown here at Ohio Intercollegiate Championships helped the Yellow Jackets get back to national prominence. He was the number four runner for Cedarville which placed 12th of 35 schools at the NAIA Nationals after being rated as high as 17th in the national poll.
Yellow Jacket freshman Ed Letts, who is from Rio Grande, N.J., established himself to be the harriers' number two runner. He was an NCCAA All-American after placing 15th in the meet with a season-best time of 25:40. Letts also finished 37th at the NAIA Nationals and 8th in the Mid-Ohio Conference.
