Oct. 23, TIFFIN
Tiffin remained unbeaten in American Mideast Conference play with a 2-0 victory at Cedarville in cold, wet, and windy conditions. The Dragons, ranked 17th in the NAIA, scored in the 53rd and 84th minutes. The Jackets put a ball off the crossbar with the game scoreless in the first half and managed nine shots on goal to 11 for TU. [BOXSCORE]

Oct. 20, WALSH
Walsh past Cedarville, 3-0, in an American Mideast Conference match. The key goal was one coming with just 41 seconds left in the first half which gave the Cavs a 2-0 halftime lead. The host Yellow Jackets managed just two shots on goal. [BOXSCORE]

Oct. 16, SHAWNEE STATE
Aaron Cook had two goals and an assist as Cedarville overwhelmed Shawnee State University, 6-0, in the annual Homecoming match. Tim Prusha, Drew Wilson, Lael Bryant, and Mark VanLenten also scored. Prusha, Dave Anthony, Justin Geer, Jack Thomas, and Curt Lowry added assists for the Jackets. Matt Reid and Tim Sparks combined for the shutout in goal. [BOXSCORE]

Oct. 12, RIO GRANDE
Rio Grande romped to a 7-0 American Mideast Conference victory at Cedarville. The match was delayed for an hour and a half with 20:58 remaining in the first half due to severe weather including lightning. By that time, the Redmen already had a 2-0 lead. Rio scored again shortly after play resumed and eventually brought Cedarville's three-match winning streak to an abrupt halt. [BOXSCORE]

Oct. 9, at Saint Vincent
It took the Yellow Jackets a while but they eventually posted a 2-0 victory at Saint Vincent in American Mideast Conference action. Freshman Steve Palmer got the game winner unassisted in the 79th minute. Tim Prusha added the insurance goal just two minutes later with Kurt Savage assisting. Freshman goalkeeper Matt Reid made two saves and notched his second straight shutout. [BOXSCORE]

Oct. 5, OHIO DOMINICAN
Roddy Willis and Aaron Cook scored goals as Cedarville stunned Ohio Dominican, 2-0, in American Mideast Conference play. Willis headed in a Kurt Savage corner kick in the 9th minute. The Jackets got their insurance goal in the 78th minute on Cook's goal which was assisted by Mark VanLenten. Freshman goalkeeper Matt Reid made four saves and got the shutout. [BOXSCORE]

Oct. 2, at Indiana Wesleyan
Dave Anthony scored one goal and assisted on another to lead Cedarville to a 3-1 non-conference victory at Indiana Wesleyan. The Jackets trailed 1-0 at the half, but Anthony's penalty kick got the visitors on the board in the 60th minute. The junior midfielder assisted on Steve Zarrilli's game winner in the 75th minute. Sept. 28, MOUNT VERNON NAZARENE
Mount Vernon Nazarene outscored the Yellow Jackets, 4-1, in an American Mideast Conference match. Trailing 2-0, Cedarville got its only goal in the 58th minute when Steve Zarrilli's centering pass deflected off an MVNC keeper into the net. The hosts managed just one shot on goal for the match. Sept. 25, at Geneva
Roddy Willis goal 10 minutes into the first overtime gave the Yellow Jackets a 2-1 American Mideast Conference victory at Geneva. Ryan Rillo assisted on the game winner which was Cedarville's third in overtime this season. Aaron Cook put the Jackets on the board first with Dave Anthony assisting. [BOXSCORE]

Sept. 21, MALONE
Malone spoiled Cedarville's home opener with a 2-1 overtime victory in an American Mideast Conference match. The Pioneers scored in the 18th minute before Justin Geer tied it in the 41st minute with Aaron Cook assisting. Malone got the game winner in the 104th minute. [BOXSCORE]

Sept. 18, at Point Park
Point Park scored three unanswered goals in the second half for a 3-1 American Mideast Conference victory over the Yellow Jackets. Cedarville took a 1-0 lead into halftime on Justin Geer's goal in the 41st minute with an assist from Steve Palmer. [BOXSCORE]

Sept. 16, at Otterbein
Both teams entered the match at 5-0-0, but host Otterbein outscored the Yellow Jackets 3-0 in non-conference play. The outcome halted Cedarville's best-ever start to a season. The Cardinals outshot the Jackets 6-5 and scored the game winner in the 33rd minute. [BOXSCORE]

Sept. 14, at Urbana
Aaron Cook netted three goals and Dave Anthony scored two more in a 5-1 victory at Urbana in Cedarville's American Mideast Conference opener. It gave the Jackets their finest start in the 37-year history of the program at 5-0-0. The Blue Knights struck first in the 5th minute before the Jackets took control and led 3-1 by halftime. Assists came from Justin Geer, Ryan Rillo, Jack Thomas, and Curt Lowry. Rookie Tim Sparks got the win in goal. [BOXSCORE]

Sept. 9, at Capital
Kurt Savage scored on an assist from Tim Prusha in the second overtime for a 2-1 win at Capital in non-conference play. The Jackets are 4-0 for the first time since 1986. Roddy Willis had Cedarville's other goal with an assist from Justin Walling. Matt Reid made three saves in goal. [BOXSCORE]

Sept. 7, at Defiance
Four separate players found the net in a 4-0 non-conference win at Defiance. Roddy Willis, Justin Geer, Tim Prusha, and Steve Palmer scored the goals while Willis, Lael Bryant, and Aaron Cook had assists. Matt Reid and Tim Sparks combined for the shutout in goal. Sept. 4, Olivet Nazarene (Grace Tournament)
Cedarville won the Grace College Tournament with a 2-0 victory over Olivet Nazarene. Justin Geer got the gamewinner in the 81st minute on an assist from Dave Anthony. Aaron Cook netted the insurance goal six minutes later with an assist from Lael Bryant. Matt Reid made three saves in goal for his first collegiate shutout. Steve Palmer was named the Offensive MVP while Mike Burgman and Aaron Cook joined him on the all-tournament team. [BOXSCORE]

Sept. 3, Moody Bible Institute (Grace Tournament)
Dave Anthony scored an unassisted goal 13 minutes into overtime to give Cedarville a 2-1 win in their season opener. Moody scored late in the first half and the 1-0 lead held up until Aaron Cook converted a direct kick in the 83rd minute. Freshman keeper Matt Reid made five saves in goal. [BOXSCORE]
