May 22, Palm Beach Atlantic (NAIA National Tournament)
Palm Beach Atlantic FL, ranked #14 in the NAIA, defeated Cedarville, 7-2, in the first round of the 20th Annual NAIA National Tournament at the University of Kentucky Tennis Complex. The two teams opened the match in doubles and the Jackets got a point from their #3 team of Elizabeth Wolfe and Amy Reed with an 8-3 win. The other point came from #6 singles player Jennifer Roman in a 6-0, 6-2 decision. [MATCH RESULTS]

May 13, Walsh (NAIA Region IX Tournament)
The Lady Jackets won the NAIA Region IX championship with a 6-3 win over Walsh to earn their first trip to the national tournament in seven years. Cedarville ended a six-match losing streak to the Cavaliers. They swept the doubles and received singles victories from Amy Gregory, Elizabeth Wolfe, and Amy Reed. [MATCH RESULTS]

May 12, Malone (NAIA Region IX Tournament)
Cedarville posted their second win over Malone this spring with a 6-3 victory in the semifinals of the NAIA Region IX Tournament. Ginger Butler, Elizabeth Wolfe, and Amy Reed nailed down singles points and the Jackets swept the doubles. [MATCH RESULTS]

May 2, FINDLAY
The Lady Jackets recorded a 9-0 non-conference win over Findlay as the Oilers brought just two players. Casey Ruffin (6-1, 6-0) and Elizabeth Wolfe (6-4, 6-1) won in singles while Ginger Butler and Julie Gregory (8-3) teamed up for a doubles victory. April 29, SETON HILL
The Jackets completed their American Mideast Conference schedule with a 9-0 victory against Seton Hill. Pam Johnson gave four of her top six singles players the match off. Winners were Casey Ruffin, Amy Gregory, Julie Gregory, Angela Seeley, Elissa Dvorak, and Alison Warren. Cedarville won the three doubles matches by identical 8-0 scores. [MATCH RESULTS]

April 28, at Transylvania
Cedarville cruised to a 9-0 non-conference win at Transylvania. The Jackets swept every match in straight sets and lost only 15 games total. [MATCH RESULTS]

April 25, at Wittenberg
Wittenberg slipped by Cedarville, 5-4, in non-conference play. Lady Jacket singles victories came from #5 Amy Reed and #6 Jennifer Roman. Cedarville got doubles points from Ginger Butler and Julie Gregory in the #2 position and Reed and Elizabeth Wolfe at #3. [MATCH RESULTS]

April 18, at Ohio Wesleyan
Ohio Wesleyan downed the Lady Jackets, 6-3, in a non-conference match. Cedarville picked up two singles points when #5 Elizabeth Wolfe posted a 6-2, 6-0 win and #6 Jennifer Roman took a 7-5, 6-3 decision. Wolfe and Amy Reed won their #3 doubles match by an 8-5 count. [MATCH RESULTS]

April 15, GENEVA
Cedarville coasted to a 9-0 win over Geneva in American Mideast Conference play. Casey Ruffin, Amy Gregory, Ginger Butler, Amy Reed, Elizabeth Wolfe, and Jennifer Roman all won in straight sets. The Lady Jackets also swept the doubles. [MATCH RESULTS]

April 10, MUSKINGUM
The Lady Jackets posted an easy 9-0 non-conference win over Muskingum. Cedarville received forfeit wins at #1 singles and #1 doubles, swept the five remaining singles matches in straight sets while dropping only 11 games total, and lost only one game in doubles. [MATCH RESULTS]

April 8, at Malone
Cedarville completed its Canton weekend with a 7-2 American Mideast Conference win against Malone in a match played indoors. Singles winners for the Jackets were Ginger Butler, Amy Reed, Elizabeth Wolfe, and Jennifer Roman. The visitors swept all three doubles matches. [MATCH RESULTS]

April 7, at Walsh
Five-time defending conference champion Walsh downed the Lady Jackets, 7-2, in American Mideast Conference indoor play. Elizabeth Wolfe picked up a 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 win at #4 singles and then teamed up with Ginger Butler for an 8-3 victory at #2 doubles. [MATCH RESULTS]

April 3, at Dayton
Dayton ended the four-match winning streak for the Lady Jackets with a 7-2 decision in a non-conference match played indoors. Both points for Cedarville came in doubles. Casey Ruffin and Amy Gregory teamed up for a 9-7 win at the #1 spot, and Elizabeth Wolfe and Amy Reed were 8-1 winners at #2 doubles. [MATCH RESULTS]

April 1, at Tiffin
Cedarville won their fourth straight match with a 9-0 decision at Tiffin in American Mideast Conference action. Top player Casey Ruffin improved her season mark to 5-0 with a 6-3, 6-2 win. March 27, at Ohio Northern
The Lady Jackets picked up their third straight shutout victory with a 9-0 non-conference win at Ohio Northern. The outcome wasn't as easy as the final score would indicate as Cedarville battled through three doubles wins and then swept the singles including two matches that went to three sets. March 25, SHAWNEE STATE
Cedarville breezed past Shawnee State, 9-0, in their American Mideast Conference and home opener. The hosts won five singles matches in straight sets and one by forfeit. In doubles, they posted a pair of shutouts and received one forfeit win. [MATCH RESULTS]

March 24, at Mount St. Joseph
The Lady Jackets picked up their first win of the season with a 9-0 victory at Mount St. Joseph in a non-conference match. Cedarville swept the six singles matches, five in straight sets, and also made a strong doubles showing. [MATCH RESULTS]

March 18, Carleton (at Hilton Head, SC)
The Lady Jackets opened their 2000 schedule with a 5-4 setback to Carleton. Casey Ruffin began her senior season with a victory at #1 singles, 6-0, 6-2. Rookie Jennifer Roman won her first collegiate match at #5, 7-5, 6-4. Ruffin and Amy Gregory were 8-5 winners at #1 doubles while Elizabeth Wolfe and Julie Gregory posted an 8-5 victory at the #2 slot. [MATCH RESULTS]
