Brent Davis is back for his seventh season as an assistant coach on Ben Belleman's staff. Davis is familiar with the CU program. He enjoyed an outstanding career as a Yellow Jacket from 1987 through 1990 and then was an assistant coach for John McGillivray in 1991 and 1992.

Davis served as head boys' soccer coach at Dayton Christian High School from 1996 through 2000 and was an assistant with the Crusaders the previous four years. He was named District Coach of the Year in 1997 by the Miami Valley Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association. He teaches at Springfield Prep and Fitness Academy.

Davis scored 18 goals and was credited with 16 assists during his playing career at Cedarville. He was named Team MVP in 1988 after leading the squad to the NCCAA District III title and a berth in the NCCAA National Tournament. He was a three-time All-Mid-Ohio Conference selection and a two-time All-NAIA District 22 pick.

Davis is a 1991 graduate of Cedarville with a degree in Physical Education. Brent and his wife, JoAnn, who is also a CU graduate, reside in Cedarville with their five children: Caitlin, 13; Celeste, 11; Conor, 9; Chase, 6; and Camryn Rose, 2.
