Jon Plush returns to the Yellow Jacket coaching staff working with the pole vaulters. He was previously an assistant coach while serving as an assistant athletic trainer from 2000 through 2004.
Plush is a 1995 graduate of Cedarville College with a degree in physical education and exercise science. He earned his NATA-BOC certification that same year and then finished work on his master's degree in athletic training from Georgia State University in 1997. He is currently working on a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Dayton.
Plush is no stranger to the Yellow Jacket track & field program. He was an NAIA and NCCAA All-American in the pole vault from 1991 to 1995. He was the NCCAA champion as a senior in the pole vault and 400 meter relay. Plush was a four-time Mid-Ohio Conference champion in the pole vault and graduated with the school record at 16-3.
