Kevin Roper continues as goalkeeper coach for the men's and women's soccer programs after returning to the coaching staff in 2001. He previously served as one of John McGillivray's assistants from 1995 through 1997.

Roper was a member of the coaching staff at Munro College in Jamaica from 1979-85 and again in 1997-99. He later served as goalkeeper coach at NCAA Division I Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina from 1985-88 and has long been active in various soccer camps.

Roper is an associate professor of mathematics at Cedarville University. A 1979 graduate of Southhampton University in England, he earned a master's degree in education from the University of South Carolina in 1988 and his Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky in 1995. Roper is single and resides in Cedarville.
