Dave Stewart is in his third season as part of the Cedarville University softball coaching staff. He holds the position of Head Assistant Coach.

Lt. Col. Stewart has served for 24 years in the United States Air Force and is currently stationed at Wright Patterson AFB. He was promoted to commander of the Great Lakes liaison region to the Civil Air Patrol in June, 2006.

Stewart, a native of Montgomery, Alabama, is a 1984 graduate of Troy State University with a degree in physical education. Dave and his wife, Kim, who is the Office Manager in the CU athletic department, reside in Cedarville with their son Tyler, 19, and daughter Madison, 16.
