CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Five members of the Cedarville University women's cross country team have been recognized as NAIA Scholar-Athletes for 2008. It's the second year in a row that four seniors have been selected.
Stacey Keller of Harrisburg, Pa; Elisabeth Pyles from Cedarville, Ohio; Brittany Simpson from Kennebunk, Maine; and Nicole Santos of Parkman, Maine are repeat honorees. They are joined by Lydia Wong, a junior from Dillsburg, Pa.
A total of 251 student-athletes representing 108 institutions appear on the list. The group includes juniors and seniors, who maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average. [NAIA SCHOLAR-ATHLETES]
