Rachel Brownfield looks up field against Walsh.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Injuries and illness finally caught up with the Lady Jackets as Walsh walked away with an easy 4-0 American Mideast Conference victory.

Cedarville had four starters on the shelf and wasn’t able to muster much offense against the Cavaliers, who came to town with just one win in their last five outings.

Walsh, 5-8-3 overall and 5-5 AMC, scored in the 11th and 34th minutes for a 2-0 bulge at the break. The visitors added scores in the 53rd and 71st minutes to make it a blowout.

The Cavs had the edge in overall shots, 10-8, and shots on goal, 5-3. The Lady Jackets drop to 7-7-2 and 5-3-2 AMC. [STATS]
