Q. What type of dorm supervision will be provided?
A. Camp staff provide supervision in each section of the residence hall. The staff are available to offer guidance and direction to each camper. The typical camper/staff ratio is 10 to 1.
Q. What is the number permissable in a residence hall room?
A. Each room has 2 beds and each child must be assigned a bed. Campers are only in their rooms for sleep time.
Q. Who receives the Early Registration discount?
A. Anyone who submits a registration form that is postmarked by May 1, 2006. Each child from the same family is eligible for this discount.
Q. What meals are provided?
A. Resident campers receive three meals per day beginning with dinner on Thursday and ending with lunch on Saturday. Commuters receive lunch and dinner.
Q. Are campers busy all day long?
A. The schedule for each camp is rigorous but also allows for time to relax and get to know other campers. A typical day will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 9:00 p.m.
Q. Can my child bring a bicycle, electronic games or a CD player?
A. We strongly dicourage this. Campers have a full schedule each day and these things are not needed. These items can also be easily misplaced.
Q. Can my child call home if they want to?
A. A phone will be avaialable in the lobby of each dorm. Phone cards will be needed for long distance.
Q. My child is involved in summer sports and will have games during camp week. Can they leave for those games?
A. Yes, but a counselor needs to be informed at the beginning of the week when these games will take place.
Q. Are there times when I can come to see my child participate?
A. Yes, games are incorporated into each camp schedule and you are welcome to come watch. You will be given a schedule the first day of camp.
