Former Yellow Jacket Kiel Boynton is in his second season as an assistant coach at Cedarville University. He serves as the team's pitching coach.

Boynton, a native of Prineville, Oregon, was a pitcher at CU from 2003 through 2006. He appeared in 40 games for the Jackets, mostly as a reliever, but made 12 starts during his final two seasons.

Boynton is a 2006 graduate of the University with a degree in physical activity and sport studies. Kiel is single and resides in Cedarville.
