Chris Cross is in his fifth year at Cedarville University as an assistant professor of athletic training. It's his fourth year as the school's head athletic trainer which includes being the liaison between the athletic department and all allied health professions that the University works with.
Cross came to Cedarville from Salem International University where he was the Director of Athletic Training overseeing the education and service of the program. During his five years at SIU, he gained experience as an assistant athletic trainer, head athletic trainer, and as the program director of athletic training.
Cross, who is certified by the BOC, is a 1996 graduate of Alderson-Broaddus College with a degree in sports medicine. The Clarksburg, West Virginia native then worked for three years at Athens Physical Therapy before earning his master's in athletic training from West Virginia University in 2001.
Chris and his wife, Barbara, reside in Cedarville with their three boys: Mason, 9; Colby, 6; and Tyler, 3.
