Jamie Hand is in his fifth season as an assistant coach to Alan Edlund. The Lancaster, Ohio native played three seasons for the Yellow Jackets in 1993, 1994 and 1996.
Hand produced a 45-13 career singles record including a 15-8 mark in the #1 position his final season when he earned All-NAIA Great Lakes Section honors. He was the sectional tournament singles runner-up and the NCCAA singles runner-up. Hand was a two-time All-NAIA District 22 performer and was a member of the district title team as a freshman that placed 20th in the NAIA National Tournament. Cedarville's overall team record was 41-10 during his career.
Hand currently teaches 9th grade English at nearby Xenia High School and has taught in the school system for ten years. Jamie and his wife, April, reside in Xenia with their four daughters: Ashley, 13; MiKayla, 10; Olivia, 9; and Alyssa, 7.
