Jason Scott joins the Yellow Jacket coaching staff assisting with the pole vaulters. He is a 2007 graduate of Cedarville University and produced an outstanding four-year career as the top vaulter in school history.

Scott was a three-time NAIA national champion in the event. He was the outdoor champion as a freshman in 2004 and claimed the indoor title as a junior and senior. He earned NAIA Indoor All-America honors all four years of his career and he was a two-time Outdoor All-American.

Scott enjoyed the same success in the NCCAA. He was a three-time outdoor pole vault champion and a two-time indoor champion. He was voted the Outstanding Field Performer of the Meet at the 2006 NCCAA Outdoor Championship.

Scott, who continues to vault competitively, graduated with five school records to his credit. Four of them were indoors including the pole vault (17-8.50), 55 meter hurdles (7.69), 60 meter hurdles (8.30), and the 200 meter dash (23.10). He also owns the outdoor pole vault mark (17-1).
